调制
SG380 信号发生器提供多种调制功能。模式包括幅度调制 (AM)、频率调制 (FM)、相位调制 (ΦM) 和脉冲调制。有一个内部调制源和一个外部调制输入。内部调制源产生 sine、ramp、saw、square 和 noise 波形。外部调制信号可以应用于后面板调制输入。内部调制发生器可用作后面板上的输出。

OCXO 或 Rubidium 时基
SG380 系列配有恒温控制晶体振荡器 (OCXO) 时基。时基在恒温控制的烘箱中使用三度泛音应力补偿 10 MHz 谐振器。时基提供非常低的相位噪声和非常低的老化。可以订购可选的铷振荡器(选项 04),以显著降低频率老化并提高温度稳定性。

一种新的频率合成技术
SG380 系列信号发生器基于一种称为有理逼近频率合成 (RAFS) 的新型频率合成技术。RAFS 在传统锁相环 (PLL) 中使用小整数除数来合成一个接近使用标称 PLL 参考频率的所需频率(通常在 ±100 ppm 以内)的频率。PLL 参考频率由锁相到抖动直接数字合成器的电压控制晶体振荡器提供,经过调整,以便 PLL 产生精确的频率。这样做可以提供高相位比较频率(通常为 25 MHz),从而产生低相位噪声,同时将 PLL 参考杂散远离载波,以便轻松去除。最终结果是具有低相位噪声的捷变射频源,基本上具有无限频率分辨率,没有
