DPT-200是功能齐全且易于使用的DisplayPort信号发生器，可用于测试DP接口的平板电脑、显示器和电视机的开发调试与生产线测试。
DPT-200与Unigraf DP Reference Source (标准信号源) CTS工具完全兼容。 DPT-200是用于HDCP一致性测试的硬件平台，它还可用作PHY CTS自动化测试时所需的AUX控制器。

DPT-200可与两款图形化操作界面（GUI）软件兼容。 DP Reference Source CTS GUI是用于兼容性测试的用户界面，DP Source Console GUI则是用于开发测试和监视链接调适(Link Training)状态的。
这两种工具都使工程师只需单击几个位置即可访问所需的所有信息，大大提高了工程师的测试与调试效率。
作为开发和调试工具，DPT-200通过其USB连接到PC，并通过GUI应用程序进行操作。 此应用程序支持以下功能：
进行手动和自动链接调适(Link Training)
输出PHY模式信号(PHY Pattern)，例如PRBS7、D10.2…..等等
搭配内置的图片，输出不同的分辨率
设置输出摆幅(Swing)和预加重电平(Pre-emphasis Levels)

DPT-200是个体积小巧的标准信号源设备，用于对DUT DP Sink待测物进行HDCP测试，并已由DCP LLC认证为HDCP CTS的授权测试设备。
DP Reference Source CTS SW GUI允许使用者设定测试参数，以进行待测物功能测试并监控测试执行的过程，并获得容易阅读的测试报告以及有关测试结果的所有详细信息。
DPR-200的第二个功能是作为DP AUX Controller，并搭配符合要求的PHY测试设备自动运行DP PHY测试。

生产测试命令集（Production Test Command）提供了一种从用户开发程序对DPR-200进行控制的方法。此功能允许用户在软件的自动验证测试或长期(Quality Assurance reliability)质量保证可靠性测试中，可将DPR-200当作一台信号源使用。
